Applications received by a state body, organization, or their officials are reviewed by the body, organization, or officials responsible for handling applications.

Applications received by a state body or organization may also be forwarded to subordinate divisions.

If the application contains issues concerning several structural divisions of state bodies or organizations, all of them are designated as responsible for reviewing the application. The structural division mentioned first among the responsible ones ensures the joint review of the application with other structural divisions.

If additional information, certificates, and materials are needed for the complete, objective, and timely review of the application, the state body, organization, or their officials reviewing the application may request additional information from the applicant and, within their authority, from other state bodies, organizations, and officials. State bodies, organizations, and officials are obliged to provide the requested information within ten days if the information does not contain state secrets or other legally protected secrets, and does not harm the rights, freedoms, and legitimate interests of individuals and legal entities, or the interests of society and the state.

If necessary, the state body, organization, or their officials reviewing the applications may ensure the review of the application on-site.

If the issues raised in the application concern the activities of business entities, their representatives are involved by state bodies within their authority to participate in the review of the application.

If during the review of the application it is necessary to inspect the activities of business entities, including financial and economic activities (audits), it is carried out in accordance with the legislation.
